MOVING THROUGH THE YEARS

 Haulage and Removals has been a part of the Vater family tradition since way back in 1933.  A.H Vater and Sons was established by Andy*s Grandad, Arthur Vater and was based in Scotsford Road in Broad Oak.  The company was well known and highly respected by the local community.  Arthur started the business with just one vehicle and over time built this up to running fifteen vehicles with the help of his sons. 

The services that A.H Vater and Sons offered ranged from Haulage, removals and storage to supplying building materials such as sand and ballast.  They carried out work for many local businesses including Scats, Hovis, The Tunbridge Wells CO - OP Society and Baltic Sawmills these are to name but a few.

In 1992 Andy set up Andy Vater Light Haulage and Removals after the collapse of A.H Vater and Sons.
